The Challenge
The existing manual visitor entry process was dependent on reception staff, causing potential delays during peak hours and lacking modern automation. BASF needed to upgrade to a secure, contactless, and user-friendly solution that could integrate seamlessly with their existing time attendance and access control systems, enhancing both security and the visitor experience.
The Solution Delivered by NestIT
In collaboration with Matrix Technologies, NestIT designed and deployed an intelligent, QR code-based Visitor Management System.
Automated Visitor Pre-scheduling: The system allows hosts to pre-schedule meetings, which automatically generates a time-limited, secure QR code that is sent to the visitor.
Contactless Self-Check-in: Upon arrival, visitors simply scan their QR code at the access control machine for immediate, authenticated entry, completely bypassing the need for reception assistance.
Seamless System Integration: We fully integrated the new visitor management module with the existing Matrix time attendance and access control infrastructure for unified data and security management.
